CBSE Class 12 pass percentage, number of high scorers rise compared to 2019
The number of high scorers continues to rise in the CBSE Class XII Board exams, the results of which were released on Friday. While the number has reduced from the pandemic years (2020 and 2021) when the exams were disrupted, compared to 1.3% of the total candidates who scored 95% and above in aggregate in 2019, this year the figure has zoomed to 2.3%. The pass percentage has also jumped 9.3 percentage points from 2019 and breached 90% for the first time, excluding the pandemic-hit years.
